Kim Cooper is a veteran cannabis reporter with a decade of on-air experience, who is also a patient utilizing natural therapy for over 45 years. Kim is embracing an off-grid rural lifestyle in Ontario’s rural north. Born in Toronto Ontario Canada, she moved to Northern Ontario in 2002. Kim was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2002. She was placed on dozens of pharmaceutical medications to control her chronic pain from injuries she sustained and combat the developing PTSD from the accident. After over 8 years of living life in a fog ingesting Fentanyl as well as other opiates, anti-depressants, and dozens of other prescribed medications, she woke up to realize she was addicted to the harsh medications. Kim went back to utilizing cannabis as a medicine to rid herself from the toxic pharma she was prescribed as well as embracing psychedelic medicine to treat her PTSD and brain fog that had taken over her life due to the toxins she was ingesting. She is now dedicated to spreading the information on natural therapy, and the devastating effects of pharmaceuticals being overprescribed in society today. Living a natural lifestyle off grid in the rural north embracing plant, fungi & animal-based medicines, she hosts several podcasts on NOK network including PEACE News & Views, Open Your Eye, What’s Up Northern Ontario & The 710 Daily Sesh You can read about Kim’s 45+year history with cannabis in her blog on NOCER.ca in My Story- “My Journey Through Life With Cannabis”
