Ron McNabb

Ron McNabb is based in Canada. A cannabis patient who has been using cannabis since 2017 to successfully deal with the effects of more than 20 years of chronic pain, c-ptsd, and other health issues that the pharma-train couldn’t do. Before cannabis, Ron used many pharmaceuticals over the years that never really worked and in many cases just made things worse. By 2018, Ron was taking 23 pills a day and his life was spiraling out of control. In January 2020, he had a bad reaction to hydromorphone, which almost cost him his life. This event prompted him to make the decision to quit all pharmaceuticals; he remained pharma-free until Spring 2024 after being diagnosed with a rare inflammatory condition called sarcoidosis. Even then, Ron has seriously outweighed the risks versus the benefits and is being extremely cautious to not fully board that pharma-train again.
Ron has also ventured into the realm of microdosing mushrooms off and on since late 2021, and has had excellent results thus far, so much so that he went on to a more regimented schedule with even greater results. However, due to circumstances beyond his control, he had to pause the microdosing, but has plans to restart again in the near future, so stay tuned for more updates on that.
For Ron, life prior to cannabis consisted of spending most of his time being laid up in a recliner watching TV, using mobility aids to get around, as well as being in an almost perpetual depressed state with daily suicidal thoughts and ideations. Ron now spends much of his time growing his own organic cannabis and is also an avid vegetable gardener with over 3500 sq. ft. of gardens consisting of organic vegetables and herbs he grows for his family.
When Ron is not busy with his gardens, he’s busy with being a joint-host on not just one, but three weekly LIVE video-podcasts on the NOK Network: Ganja News Update at 8pm ET Mondays, Grow420, his very own podcast that follows his cannabis grow at 4pm ET Tuesdays, and the IWK 710 Daily Sesh 7pm ET Fridays where he shares his gardening knowledge and walking viewers through his extensive beds.
